The Televes Overlight Indoor SC/APC C32 9dBm Optical Transmitter converts terrestrial DAB/UHF and WideBand satellite signals into an optical output. It provides a professional solution for distributing television services to multiple users over a single fibre, simplifying cabling in collective installations.
Operating within the Televes Overlight system, it uses DWDM technology compliant with ITU-T G.694.1. It transmits on channel C32 at 1551.72nm with 9dBm optical output power. Its inputs support terrestrial signals and the vertical and horizontal outputs from a compatible WideBand LNB.
This transmitter is particularly suitable for headends in residential buildings, housing developments and professional TV over fibre-optic networks where several wavelengths must share the same fibre. It is intended for new Overlight installations or system expansions, supports GPON/RFoG deployments and must be installed indoors.
Its high optical output makes it suitable for systems designed to distribute up to four satellites to more than 64 users when the required amplification is incorporated. When combining it with other DWDM transmitters, the optical multiplexer must specifically support channel C32 at 1551.72nm.
