The Televes 237573 can be installed as the Channel 33 transmitter in an Overlight headend designed to distribute several satellite positions and terrestrial DAB/UHF services. It converts the connected WideBand satellite and terrestrial inputs into a 1550.92 nm optical signal. Combined with transmitters operating on the remaining DWDM channels, a compatible multiplexer and suitable amplification, it supports four-satellite distribution to more than 64 users.
