Surmedia SMT45LTE Mini Star 12dB LTE 5G UHF Antenna

The Surmedia SMT45LTE Mini Star 45 is a compact, foldable UHF DTT antenna designed to receive Full HD and 4K UHD Digital Terrestrial Television. It is suitable for homes, caravans, camper vans and boats.

It operates on channels 21 to 48, from 470 to 694 MHz, with a maximum gain of 12dB. Its integrated LTE700 filter rejects mobile frequencies above 694MHz, helping to reduce 4G/5G interference, pixelation and interruptions to the television signal.

The manual Click-Clack system enables quick deployment and attachment to antenna masts with a diameter of 25 to 50mm. It features aluminium elements, UV-protected ABS plastic and an F-type connection with a waterproof protective cap, ready for use with 75Ω coaxial cable.

It is suitable for new installations, extensions and upgrades in areas with medium or strong signal coverage. In caravans, camper vans and boats, it should be used while the vehicle is stationary or the boat is moored and correctly pointed towards the transmitter.

Extended information about the Surmedia SMT45LTE Mini Star 12dB LTE 5G UHF antenna

Practical applications of the Surmedia SMT45LTE Mini Star antenna

Example 1: Compact DTT installation in a home with medium-to-strong coverage

An installer can fit the Surmedia SMT45LTE in a detached home where the signal from the transmitter reaches the property at a sufficient level and a compact antenna is required. Its channel 21–48 operating range covers the current DTT UHF band, while the integrated LTE700 filter helps reduce interference from nearby 4G and 5G mobile base stations.

Example 2: Television reception in a caravan, camper van or boat

In a stationary caravan or camper van, or on a moored boat, its folding design simplifies transport and deployment on a compatible mast. The installer should point the antenna towards the transmitter and check signal level and quality with a field meter. As this is a directional antenna, it is not intended to provide stable reception while the vehicle or boat is moving.
