The Surmedia SMT905G is a high-gain Triplex DTT-UHF antenna designed for outdoor Digital Terrestrial Television reception. Its maximum gain of 20 dBi makes it particularly suitable for areas with weak coverage or locations far from the television transmitter.
It operates on UHF channels 21 to 48, covering the 470–694 MHz frequency range, and features an integrated LTE 5G filter. This protection helps reject frequencies above channel 48, reducing the risk of interference from mobile communication services.
Its Triplex configuration provides passive directional gain without requiring an electrical power supply. The polished aluminium structure, F-type connection and Click-Clack quick-assembly system simplify mast installation and connection to a 75-ohm coaxial cable.
The SMT905G is suitable for both new DTT installations and the complete renewal of existing reception systems. Accurate alignment is required and, where cable or distribution losses are high, the antenna should be combined with an amplification solution selected from professional signal measurements.
