The Televes 237604 converts FM/DAB/UHF terrestrial TV signals and satellite signals from a WideBand LNB into an optical signal for distribution over fibre. Its 1550 nm output with 9 dBm optical power enables TV networks with low signal loss and high immunity to interference.
Designed for the Televes Overlight system, it features one 47–694 MHz terrestrial input and two 290–2340 MHz V/H WideBand satellite inputs. Its high optical output level enables fully passive distribution to up to 64 users, while CWDM technology allows it to be combined with other transmitters to carry up to 4 complete satellites plus DTT over a single optical fibre. It is also compatible with GPON deployments.
It is particularly suitable for installers working on new collective fibre-optic TV installations, apartment buildings and residential projects where reducing intermediate active equipment and simplifying signal distribution are priorities. It is not a specific replacement part. The unit provides 18 dB gain and adjustable equalisation up to 12 dB on its SAT inputs, plus integrated Bluetooth® for configuration and monitoring through ASuite. The headend can be completed with a Televes WideBand LNB and combined with equipment for fibre optic TV distribution available from TDTProfesional.
