Surmedia Outdoor White CCA CAT6 UTP Cable, 305m Reel
Surmedia SMK6003 Outdoor White CCA CAT6 UTP Cable, 305m Reel
The Surmedia SMK6003 is a Category 6 outdoor UTP cable designed primarily for outdoor data and telecommunications network installations. Its white finish provides a discreet appearance on façades, terraces, patios and other exposed areas.
Supplied in a 305-metre reel, it features CCA conductors and an outer polyethylene (PE) jacket resistant to moisture, weather and solar radiation. It supports Gigabit Ethernet connections up to 1 Gbps and frequencies up to 250 MHz for connecting routers, switches, servers, computers and patch panels.
It is particularly suitable for connecting outdoor IP cameras to POE switches, as well as IP phones, inverters and photovoltaic monitoring equipment. It can be used for new installations, network expansions and replacement of outdoor cable runs with suitable CAT6 RJ45 connectors.
The Surmedia SMK6003 Outdoor White CCA CAT6 UTP Cable provides a practical solution for exposed network runs, with plenty of cable for large installations. For PoE applications, distance, power consumption and voltage drop must be calculated correctly because CCA conductors have higher resistance than copper.
