Fagor 8-Way FI SAT Tap with F Connector 15dB
Fagor DER 815 8-Way Tap for DTT and Satellite IF Distribution
The Fagor DER 815 is designed to tap and distribute television signals from a main coaxial line to 8 independent homes, rooms or outlets, while maintaining signal continuity to the following floors of the building. By providing eight outputs from a single device, it helps optimise installation space and simplifies the layout of larger distribution networks.
This 8-way tap operates across a 5–2300 MHz frequency range, making it suitable for both DTT (Digital Terrestrial Television) and 1st IF satellite signals. Its tap outputs provide 15 dB attenuation, while the fully shielded construction helps protect the signal against external interference. Connections can be completed using F connectors for coaxial cable, providing a secure threaded connection for professional installations.
The DER 815 is particularly suitable for installers working on collective TV distribution networks and ICT installations where eight independent lines are required from a single point while the main distribution line continues to subsequent floors. Fagor also specifies DC power pass through all outputs. It is suitable for new installations and can also be used as a replacement when the characteristics of the existing network and the tap being replaced are compatible. It can be combined with other TV signal splitters and distribution components to configure the building's coaxial distribution network.
In summary, the Fagor DER 815 8-way 15 dB tap provides a compact solution for distributing DTT and satellite IF signals to multiple users, combining 5–2300 MHz coverage, F-type connections, high shielding performance and continuity of the main distribution line.
