User Access Point (UAP) to install of fiber optics, ideal in FTTH fiber installations in an ICT, saving in the assembly of each connector in the PAUs.
The kit of 2 SC/APC ports and 65 meter pre-connected 2-fiber cable, has an interior LSZH protective cover. The box includes screws for its fixation in the access registers of the users.
The main purpose of this pre-connectorized PAU is to eliminate the need for a fusion splicer in ICT installations (Common Telecommunications Infrastructure) in residential or office buildings. The installer checks that the cable run from the dwelling’s RTR to the RITI or RITU (indoor telecommunications equipment room) is less than 65 metres, then routes the cable from the RTR to the telecommunications room, leaving sufficient spare cable in the secondary distribution boxes and connecting it directly at the main distribution point without fusion splicing. These PAUs improve project profitability by making fibre-optic installation in an ICT system faster and more efficient.
