Overlight Indoor Optical Transmitter FM/DAB/UHF/SAT CWDM 1530 nm 9 dBm

The Televes 237607 Overlight converts satellite TV signals from a WideBand LNB, together with terrestrial FM, DAB and UHF/DTT signals, into an optical signal for distributing the complete TV service over fibre. Its 9 dBm optical output power enables passive distribution to up to 64 users, simplifying the network while maintaining excellent signal quality.

This transmitter operates within the Overlight fibre optic system and transmits specifically at 1530 nm using CWDM technology. Its signal can be multiplexed with transmitters operating at other wavelengths to carry up to four complete satellites plus DTT over a single fibre strand. At the end of the installation, it can be combined with an Overlight optical receiver to recover the TV signals at the reception points.

Its satellite inputs feature 18 dB gain and adjustable equalisation from 0 to 12 dB, helping compensate for losses when the WideBand LNB is installed far from the transmitter. Integrated Bluetooth connectivity allows installers to configure and monitor the unit from a smartphone or tablet using ASuite. This makes it particularly suitable for professionals deploying collective TV-over-fibre networks where reduced intermediate amplification and precise input signal control are required.

Designed for new installations or extensions of an Overlight system, rather than simply as a replacement part, the transmitter combines an SC/APC optical output, low-loss fibre distribution and CWDM compatibility to create scalable headends. Where the optical budget requires additional gain, the network can be complemented with an Overlight optical amplifier.
