Cables and Wires - ICT2 Telecommunications
In this section you can find all the necessary wiring for community installations or small installations in single-family houses.
Check out our ICT2 guide
We have network cables, coaxial cables, fiber optic cables, telephone cables, audio/video cables.
We also have connectors, registers and other elements for ICT network distribution, together with the necessary tools.
Coaxial Cables
We classify our coaxial cabling category into:
* RG6: the most common cable, with a diameter of about 6-7mm. It is used for community or individual TV distribution. It is used for both indoors and outdoors.
* RG59: a smaller diameter cable, about 5mm, and more flexible than RG6. It is mainly used for digital CCTV camera installations with BNC connectors.
It is also used for TV distribution in very congested areas and we also see it in the patch cords to connect from the socket to the TV.
* RG11: a >10mm diameter cable, designed for TV or Data transmission over very long distances.
Its thicker conductor offers less losses; on the other hand, they are difficult to handle.
We have specific tools for crimping coaxial cable connectors.
Coaxial Connectors
* F Conector: Used in distributors, PAU, shunts, LNB and even satellite receivers.
* CEI Conector: Used for TV connection. Also known as IEC connector
* BNC Conector: Mainly used for connection of CCTV recorders or field meters.
* Compresion Conector: Robust connection almost impossible to remove. Used in professional installations.
Data Cables - Categories and Shielding
We stock data cables, also known as network cables, or Ethernet cables.

RJ45 Connectors
RJ45 connectors are the physical termination of the data cable, which allows connection to other network devices.
As with cables, connectors belong to different categories depending on their speed and frequency. We have CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A, CAT7, CAT8 connectors.
We distinguish the male connectors as connection pins, while the female connectors serve as a connection port for these pins.
Preconnectorized cables also known as RJ45 patch cords are also available.
Next to them you will find RJ11 connectors, which look similar to RJ45 but are used for telephone networks.
Apply the filters on our website to distinguish them.
CPR Regulations
Recently a new regulation was implemented that affects all telecommunication cabling.
This regulation takes into account the type of reaction to fire that each cable presents, thus defining different Euroclasses depending on the risk of fire.
This standard requires that in ICT2 collective installations, all cables used indoors must be Euroclass Dca or higher.
ICT Enclosures - Sizes and Materials
Registers can be metallic or plastic.
